Designed to work with any processor on the market, the 271 is a High Resolution interface that allows you to design and build high performance theatre systems with 20 or more channels.

The 271 is rack-mountable and can be stacked to give 40 or even 60 audio output channels, all with Meridian’s (MHR) High Resolution Audio output and a simple IP control interface.

• Compatible with any digital or analogue surround processor.
• Enables Meridian’s award-winning loudspeakers to support any 3D audio format, including Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D and DTS:X.
• Enables access to Meridian’s peformance enhancing technologies, including Enhanced Bass Alignment (EBA), Apodising and Boundary Control.
• IP, IR, Trigger and Third Party control options enable seamless integration and flexibility within the home theatre.

Digital Signal Processing

As pioneers and leaders in the field of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, Meridian is able to deliver your music authentically to recreate the passion and involvement of your musical moments. Power-efficient, active DSP crossovers are individually tailored to distribute music to each speaker, bringing your music to life.

SpeakerLink

Traditional audio systems often require large, expensive cables to maintain their performance. Meridian's SpeakerLink uses an “Ethernet style” cable that delivers pristine digital sound and control down a single cable between Meridian components. The result is simple, unobtrusive, and cost-effective cables that are easy to install

Meridian High Resolution (MHR)

MHR was the first approved encryption method for transferring high definition digital audio between components. Previously, it had to be in the analogue domain, reducing quality. MHR allows secure movement of high resolution digital audio within a Meridian system, without compromise, improving quality by reducing cyclic repetition.

The warranty period starts from the date of purchase and covers you from manufacturing defects & unexpected faults through normal use. It does NOT cover you from accidental damage, damage caused by usage outside of product specifications or expected product wear and tear.
